Betts Boats, located in Anacortes, WA is seeking an individual to join our team! We are in need of a full-time office manager to start as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This position oversees the day-to-day operations of our office
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering telephone calls and emails from vendors and clients and directing them to relevant staff
- Purchasing materials and supplies for the office and the shop
- Onboarding new employees
- Reporting daily and weekly progress to management and working with them to improve operations and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience as an office clerk, administrative assistant, secretary or similar role is preferred
- Experience with purchasing high volumes of materials is a plus, but not required
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Strong organization skills and the ability to complete a wide variety of tasks
- Flexibility to adjust to new tasks if company or office needs change
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
- Leadership ability to manage challenges and assist employees when needed
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and email services
- Bookkeeping skills
- Reliability and discretion

- Hours and Environment: This job is from 8-5 Monday through Friday in person. We provide all necessary PPE and this position comes with a separate office in a small office environment. Our shop has also implemented many COVID safety measures to ensure a safe working environment for all our employees.
- Pay and Benefits: We provide sick pay and a competitive hourly rate. Pay for this position is dependent on experience and qualifications.
