Good afternoon from Georgetown Lake 44, 16” of very slick ice cover. We’re entering the last week of icefishing on Georgetown Lake, with the solunar calendar in the waxing gibbous. My favorite time to fish Georgetown Lake! Yes you will be able to fish Georgetown Lake up to March31 . I’ll say this season icefishing was exceptionally good for the bigger salmon and trout. I want to thank all my new and old customers for seeking out my new location at Georgetown Lake! We’ll be closed for the season starting the 29th of March. May your lines be tight and your bobbers bobbing!

Good morning from wintry Georgetown Lake 34, 16”of ice,with a snow cover of 15”. If you’re looking to go Icefishing this weekend bring a snowmobile to get around the lake. We had 4” of crusty snow cover before the big snow dump on Wednesday night. The salmon and trout haven’t slowed down their bite, we’ve got the jigs to get them on the ice. The clarity of the water is about 17’ from inside an Icefishing hut. Good morning from Georgetown Lake got down to -3 this morning,16”of ice, various depths of snow from wind yesterday and no slush that I encountered . Fishing was active in the minor, major bait times and in between it kept our attention! My friend caught the biggest salmon I’ve seen through the ice at Georgetown Lake. Sorry no pictures or weigh, he left to soon on another adventure but in that 1lb 5-8 oz range. We’ve got the gear to get that fish on the ice. The salmon at Georgetown Lake are not the easiest fish to get on the ice! These salmon are in 1-3 year range, not fall spawners this year.TightLines!!

Used a lot of different setups to get these nice Kokanee on the ice, got two that went over a pound. This summer you may get a two pound Kokanee! Good morning from Georgetown Lake +4 with the high of 16 toda.y. There’s +10” of ice, only snow on lake is at Red Bridge maybe an inch, the rest of the lake is frozen ice slush and rough. I’ve got all your icefishing supplies from bait to hut anchors. Looking for new large insulated ice huts, I have an Eskimo 7-9 man for $500 and Eskimo 6 man for $400.
