The Idaho Falls Special Olympics team is on their way back to Idaho Falls after traveling to Caldwell for the state games!

Our state team consisted of:
15 basketball players
* unified team
* traditional team
13 track and field athletes
* 25 meter walks and runs
* 50 meter walks and runs
* 100 meter walks
* 400 meter run
* 800 meter run!
* wheel chair obstacle course and slalom races
* tennis ball throws
* soft ball throws
5 swimmers
* 25 meter freestyle and walks
* 50 meter free style
* back strokes
* breast strokes
* relay race.

We had such a great time! Friday night we had a yummy dinner and opening ceremonies, and a dance,

Saturday we enjoyed breakfast, and participated in a very well organized venue.

There was something for everybody!

We had fun! We learned a lot, and now we have a very hot and tired group of amazing athletes and volunteers!

We took Bronze!!!! We made it to the very exciting Semi championship game and it was such an amazing underdog story.

I am so proud of this team for their heart, their grit, and their SPORTSMANSHIP.

The special Olympics Oath states:
“let me win, but if I cannot win, let me brave in the attempt”

And the IDAHO FALLS PANTHERS WERE SO BRAVE!!!!!

Hi everybody!

As most of you all know, I’m a local program coordinator for The only Idaho Falls Special Olympics team the Idaho Falls Panthers!

Today we are in Payette, Idaho at State Floor Hockey Games right now, and we are having a blast!

Wednesday March 20th, I would like to invite anyone who would like to be involved with the Special Olympics to a meet and greet and kick off party for the Spring and Summer Sports! This is for coaches , volunteers, and athletes!
I need:
✅ Track and field coaches
✅ Basketball coaches
✅ Flag football coaches
✅ Swimming Coaches
The Party will be:
❤️where: The Adventure Center
775 Lincoln Drive
❤️when: 5:30 PM
❤️ why: To kick off spring/summer sports and to support me lol
❤️ Who: Anyone who wants to participate, or learn more about The Idaho Falls Panthers!

Yesterday Special Olympics Idaho hosted the Fall Regional Games in Chubbuck.

Our brand new Idaho Falls Team The Idaho Falls Panthers represented well in the Softball and Bocce ball!

We practiced a lot, learned a lot, played hard, and had FUN!!!
