Double T Archery Club

We had a small but mighty thrown weapons practice on Sunday. Thanks to Caleb Reynolds, Brian Engler for coming out. Thanks to Vanessa Hayes for helping with the range and tracking royal rounds. It was remarkable to see how people throwing mostly non-conventional weapons. People threw axes and knives, but the spent a fair amount of their time throwing spear, sling, and Plumbata.

The season will continue as long as the weather holds. Thrown weapons practice will be held this Sunday, 10/11/2026 from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm.

Practice is held at Double T Archery Club. Double T Archery Club is located at 1120 N French Rd, Amherst, NY. Look for the sign on the side of the road and follow the gravel road to the clubhouse.

The cost to throw is 5.00 dollars. All money goes to the Archery club. Members of Double T are not required to pay to throw, but donations are welcome and help the club. Money is collected at the start of practice, bringing exact change is helpful. If you don’t have a spare five dollars, don’t let that discourage you; if you come, we will make sure you throw.

If you want to do royal round see Thalia, she is my official score keeper.

Loaner gear available!!

The site is outdoors and there may be bugs. We will have a collection of bug defense for people to use, but it’s always a good idea to bring your own.
