Two weekends ago (May 8th-10th) MSB Dance Company competed at Energy Dance Competition.
In order of dances:
-“Lovely” received a 5th Overall High Score.
-“The Way You Make Me Feel” received a Standout Award.
-“Here Comes The Sun” received a High Gold in adjudications with a 1st in Category, and 7th Overall High Score.
-“Colorblind” received a platinum in adjudications, with a “Technique Excellence” award, and a 3rd Overall High Score.
-“Short Skirt Long Jacket” received a High Gold in adjudications and a “Triple E Award”
-“Straight Up” received a platinum in adjudication awards.
MSB was also one of the few studios that was given a scholarship to Energy’s Nationals Competition! We are so proud of these girls!!

Earlier today, our MSB Dance & Cheer Performance Packet #2 was sent out. As always, please be sure to read the entire packet as there is LOTS of important information regarding the recital and the week leading up to it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the front desk, your child's teacher, or Ms. Meagan. We are so excited and cannot wait for the recital!

Celebrate a great year of dance and recital with a t-shirt to remember it by! The back of the shirt will include all participating dancers, teachers, and staff. The attached photo of the shirt is a draft and will be triple-checked for spelling of names, so minor adjustments may be made.

Orders are due June 3rd, 2026, and will be available to pick up in the theater lobby on recital day.

This past weekend (April 17th- 19th) our MSB Dance Company competed at On Point Dance Competition.
In order of dances:
-"Here Comes The Sun" received a gold, 1st in category, and a dynamic award for the highest lyrical score for ages 12 and under.
-"Short Skirt, Long Jacket" received a high gold.
-“Colorblind” received a high gold.
-"Lovely" received a high gold, 1st in category, and 1st overall.
-"Ascension" received a platinum, 1st in category, 2nd overall, and a special judges award.
-"black0ut" received a high gold, and 1st in category.
-"Good At Being Bad" received a gold in adjudication.
We are so proud of our dancers!!

The weekend of April 10th- 12th our MSB Dance Company attended Showstopper Dance Competition! All group dances got platinum and we are so proud of our dancers!
In order of dances:
-“The Way You Make Me Feel” received a platinum and placed 4th in category.
-“Lovely” received a platinum and placed 7th in category.
-“Ascension” received a platinum, placed 1st in category, and 6th overall.
-“Good At Being Bad” received a platinum.
-“Here Comes The Sun” received a platinum and 1st in category.
-“Straight Up” received a platinum and 3rd in category.
-“Short Skirt, Long Jacket” received a platinum and 4th in category.
-“Colorblind” received a platinum, 2nd in category, and 9th overall.
