Men are more likely to report symptoms through irritability, anger, or substance use rather than sadness.

But what often gets labeled as “anger issues” or “bad habits” can actually be unprocessed stress, depression, or emotional overwhelm that hasn’t had space to be expressed safely.

When emotions don’t have language, they find another way out.

That’s why support matters...not to judge the expression, but to understand what’s underneath it and give it a healthier place to go.
