Reminder that the Wrestling Awards banquet will be this Wednesday April 22nd at 5:30 in the ACHS cafeteria! Again this is for all ages, girls and boys. Hope to see you there!

🎉🤼 UPDATE: A few of our wrestlers will be recognized at tomorrow’s school board meeting. To allow them this opportunity, our awards banquet has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, April 22nd, at 5:30 p.m. in the Amherst High School cafeteria.

A huge shoutout goes to Abigail Eggleston for placing 6th at the 2026 VHSL Girls State Championship.

She is the first State placer for Amherst County in the new VHSL Girls Division.

Three of our middle schoolers, Austin, Oland and Jace competed at the VAWA State Championships today.

Jase got into the medal round and was able to place 6th!

Congratulations to Creed, Sawyer, Knox and Rhett for competing in the Virginia Folkstyle State Tournament yesterday.

All 4 of these young men had an incredible run to get this far.

First year wrestler Rhett Floyd placed 6th in the 8U 45 pound division!!
