Congratulations are in order for Sofia Guadagna (‘26) and Gianna Papero (‘27) after their stellar performances this spring season!

Sofia was selected to represent Sweet Home at the WNY Senior All-Star game. Sofia led our Varsity team in ground balls (31) and caused turnovers (17), highlighting her relentless effort in the midfield and leadership all over the field. She was also selected for the 2nd team all-conference team!

Gianna was chosen to play in the Buffalo Bandits Underclassmen All-Star game after a breakout season. Gianna tallied up 58 points (48g/10a), received 1st team all-conference recognition, and has established herself as a key contributor and facilitator within our offensive unit!

Both Sofia and Gianna tied for 59 draw controls this season - a testament to their ability to positively impact the game when needed!

Please join us in celebrating and recognizing these two remarkable young women and all they’ve accomplished! We are so proud of them!

Congratulations to our Athlete of the Week, Gianna Papero. With 14-goals, 3-assists, 17-draw controls and 4 ground balls in just three games this week, Gianna continues to put the team on her back when they need her most. Great job Gianna!

Sophomore goalie Mariela Roa hit a milestone of 💯 career saves last night in our Varsity win against West Seneca East!

One of our favorite games of the year - Teacher Appreciation Night! We are honored to celebrate and recognize the amazing staff members here at Sweet Home.

Special shout out to Mr. Joe Lucenti, our interim principal for this past school year. His 40+ year career comes to a close this June. His impact on SH High School has been significant and we are forever grateful for his guidance and leadership!

A fun filled weekend for our Varsity team!

Saturday morning we held practice, ate team breakfast (thanks to our amazing parents), and then headed to a team yoga session at Vireva Yoga, hosted by HS ELA teacher Alysia LaPenna! Afterwards the girls took a trip to Tropical Smoothie Cafe to refuel - thank you for the smoothies!

On Sunday, we collaborated with Phoenix Lacrosse and saw that the future is bright with some young up and coming Panthers 💛💙
