Final games of the season for our 18u Amherst Falcons Softball team. Games will be followed by a 10u game. Come on down to Freddie's Home Plate for a fun night of Softball Monday July 27

Amherst 18u girls travel to Menasha and sweep the doubleheader on Monday. The score in game one was 20-7 and game two 14-11.
All five of our pitchers(Ava Dambroski, Charlotte Lutz, Sascha Gollon, Izzy Losinski, and Kaelyn Roberts) pitched in the doubleheader with Dambroski and Losinski picking up the wins.
Amherst had 18 hits combined in the two games with Jordynn Stuczynski having 2 doubles, Sascha Gollon 3 hits including a double, Rachel Portmann having 3 hits including a double.
Amherst Falcons Softball improves to 9-1 and will play thier final double header next Monday vs Neenah at Freddie's Home Plate in downtown Amherst. First game starts at 5. There will be concessions available

18u wins both games of a doubleheader today at New London.
Amherst Falcons Softball wins game one 7-4 behind a solid pitching performance by Zoey O'Brien and Charlotte Lutz.
Izzy Losinski, O'Brien, Zoe Bednarek, and Eva Wojtalewicz led Amherst with two hits each with Losinski hitting a double and Wojtalewicz blasting a triple.
In game two, Charlotte Lutz, Izzy Losinski, and Kaelyn Roberts did a great job pitching for the win
Eva Wojtalewicz and Zoe Bednarek led Amherst with 2 hits each with Kaelyn Roberts getting a huge hit to drive in two.
Amherst 18u Improves to 7-1 in the Classic League this summer. Amherst travels to Seymour next Monday.
A big thank you to Brooklyn Berrens and Calee Schulist for coaching tonight as today was a WIAA non coaching day for Coach J and Ryan. Brooklyn is a All State Catcher from Iola and grand daughter of former Falcon Tiffany Clinton Erickson and Calee was a four year starter for Amherst.
It was a great day for Softball.

Our 18u Amherst Falcons Softball wins at doubleheader vs Clintonville today.
Amherst wins game one 3-1 and game two 3-0.
Four Amherst pitchers Zoey O'Brien, Ava Dambroski, Izzy Losinski, and Charlotte Lutz gave up only 5 hits on the day and no earned runs
We struggled at the plate but had clutch hits from Taylor Klieforth, Kaelyn Roberts, and Zoey O'Brien in game 1 and Rachel Portmann, Sophia Bablitch, and Zoe Bednarek in game 2.
Birthday girl Ivy Boelk and Rachel Portmann turned a beautiful double play to get Amherst out of jam in game 1.
Amherst Improves to 5-1 and travels to New London next Monday.
Great to see Former Falcon Calee Schulist helping Coach and supporting the girls.
