Hello everyone,
Last Friday was a success! Zahar and Sigi taught leads how to properly turn their follows and focused on what follows could do while they were turning. These upcoming 3 classes will focus on the basics of Bachata and building on our skills, so we are ready for social dancing. Zahar will be coming as a guest instructor for these 3 following classes and will keep bringing dancers from Des Moines.

All lessons will be in Forker 196 at 7:45 pm, doors open at 7:30 PM

Sep 23 - Turns
This class will be focused on understanding how to make different types of turns. Technically is all the same turn but with changes in levels and in hand holds a new type of turn can be seen.
Sept 30 - Turns Patterns
After this class, you will be comfortable making your own unique turn patterns and understand why some turns haven't been as successful, and the tips and tricks to make them work going forward!
Oct 7 - Connectivity and Communication
Finally, we will focus on how we connect and communicate with our partners, so our moves are seamless.

A couple of Reminders:
You don't need a partner to join our classes
Because the floor is finished you either need to take your shoes off or bring your dancing shoes
This is a beginner lesson, and no previous experience is required + if you missed a class you can catch up/ we will help you catch up if needed

Hello friends!
This Friday, September 16 we will have our first Bachata lesson with Zahar and Mariah from Des Moines as instructors. The lesson will be at Forker 196, and the doors will open at 7:30 PM. After the lesson, we will host a social near campus. We will give more info about the social on the day of the lesson and post information on our social media platforms FB (https://www.facebook.com/descargaisu) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/descarga_isu/).
