4 years ago I bought an abundance of flower seeds. I had big aspirations of beautiful bouquets! Life happened and I never planted a single seed. This spring I came across the flower seed packets who were all past their expiration dates and I was sad for the missed opportunity. I decided we should plant the seeds anyway. The worst thing that could happen was another year of no flowers. Instead, beautiful sunflowers blossomed! You may have set goals for yourself, for your family, for your horse, for your future and life may have gotten in the way. But if this year offers you a spare moment, I hope you will pick that dream back up. It’s not past the expiration date no matter what you may think or people may say. There is still time to pursue your goal, your dream, your passion. And the fruits or your labor will be so worth it!

Scheduling Update Sunday, September 6th – Sunday, September 13th:
Sunday the 6th: 11:00 am and 1:00 pm lessons FULL. Openings with 2:30 pm lesson and 4:00 pm lesson (cost $35/rider). Campfire ride FULL.

Monday the 7th: Openings with Tiny Tot sessions at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm (cost $30/rider, 1 on 1 with instructor, appropriate for ages 2 – 8).
1 hour group lessons with openings 10:00 am, 1:00 pm 2:30 pm, and 4:00 pm (Cost $35/rider).
All ages campfire ride with openings 5:30 pm (cost $45/rider includes arena ride, trail ride, and campfire with s’mores)

Tuesday the 8th: Tiny Tot sessions with openings 10:00 am, 1:45 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm (cost $30/rider)
1 hour group lessons with openings 4:00 pm and 5:10 pm (cost $35/rider).

Wednesday the 9th: Tiny Tot sessions with openings 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, 2:45 pm, 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm (cost $30/rider)
Home school camp with openings 1 pm – 5 pm (cost $70/rider, appropriate for ages 7 to adult, includes arena riding, trail riding, feeding farm animals, beverage and snack)

LADIES NIGHT CAMPFIRE RIDE with openings 5:30 pm (cost $50/rider, open to adult ladies only includes choice of beverage and snack).

Thursday the 10th: Tiny Tot sessions with openings 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm (cost $30/rider, 1 on 1 with instructor)
1 hour group lesson with openings 4:00 pm and 5:10 pm (cost $35/rider)

Friday the 11th: Sunrise ride with openings at 7:30 am (cost $45/rider includes arena ride, trail ride, pastry tray and beverage)
Tiny Tot sessions with openings 11:00 am, 2:00 pm (cost $30/rider)
1 hour group lessons with openings 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm (cost $35/rider)

Saturday: As always we are CLOSED 😊

Sunday, September 13:
1 hour group lessons with openings 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm (cost $35/rider)

Off site trail rides at the Garfield Recreation Area will be starting soon! Trail loops are ~1 hour in length and to join you have to ride at least once at the farm to ensure we have the right horse/saddle fit for you 😊. This handsome boy has come sooooooooooo far!! From literally crashing into everything in his path to standing wild eyed and snorting in the round pen… to a distinguished gentleman able to lope on a loose rein and tackle solo trail rides. I’m not sure if I’ve ever been more proud of a horse’s progress/outcome. As we prepare to send Moose home we are so grateful to his owners who entrusted him to us, trusted the process, and were so involved in making sure his transition home will go smoothly ❤️. I’ll miss the big guy’s snuggles!
