π¨ GAMEDAY. π¨ Today at Rickerson Field, Princeton takes on Yale for the Koranda Cup π
π
π
The Koranda Cup is played every spring between Princeton and Yale in honor of Rob Koranda '02, who we tragically lost in 2003. An outstanding role model and rugby player, Rob is best remembered for his bright spirit, leadership, and friendship. He was the first recipient of Princeton Rugby's Chris Mello '98 award. Aside from this annual competition, Princeton Men's Rugby keeps Rob's memory alive through the Best and Fairest Award, which was established in honor of Rob and given to the player who exemplifies excellence in play and character, and the inscription "Rob Koranda - Forever With Us," which is written on every PURFC jersey. Come out to Rickerson Field today for a great day of rugby played in Rob's honor. Bring a crowd!
π Getting to Rickerson Field: Take TigerTransit to the Meadows Drive Garage stop (Routes WS, 6A, or 6B). For students, the easiest route is taking 6A from Prospect Ave or Goheen Walk. From the bus stop, itβs just a short walk to Rickerson Field. Download TripShot for schedules.
π Visitors traveling by car are welcome to park in the Meadows Drive Garage. The parking garage is right next to the bus stop and is also a quick walk to the field.
