Announcement:

I dont know how to start this, but here we go. I want to announce that I am officially retiring from racing. This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made to step away from the sport I have loved and been around for almost 37 years of my life. What made me make this decision is the back injury I received in an accident in 2024. Also my family has sacrificed alot in my racing so it’s now time for me to do things with them.

I want to thank everyone of my fans, and sponsors that have been there and stood behind me along this journey. We had alot of up’s and down’s but what an amazing journey it has been. I enjoyed every time I strapped into any of the race cars I ever drove. I feel like I had an amazing racing career with alot of wins, and a championship in a micro sprint, and the feature win I had in a sprint car. I also want to thank all my fellow competitors for the help, friendships, and amazing racing and shows we put on. I am going to miss racing with each and everyone of you.

I am still going to go out of the track as a fan or pit man, or a driving coach.

It’s been a great ride and thank you all.

It is race day in the panhandle.

Tonight is one of my favorite nights of the year. It’s fan appreciation night bring everyone you know, and let pack the house.

We rolled into Route 66 Motorspeedway and drew a 48 pill which put us starting on the front row for heat race 1.

Hot laps the car felt good, but one about lap 3 of hot laps I felt a small vibration and the car went from turning 7700 RPM to 5500 RPM. It felt like it was something in the rearend of the car.I pulled off, and back to the trailer. We begin to chase the problem till the heat race which I elected to start scratch. I ran about 3 laps in the heat race which the car wouldn’t turn more that 6600 RPM’s it felt like it was hitting a rev limiter about the middle of the straightaway. We continue to chase the problem till they called us to staging to start the main.

Main we rolled off P12, car started off good, but as the race went on the car started to act up again. It began to act like it did in hot laps and it didn’t turn over 7000 RPM. So i elected to pull in to prevent hurting the car or motor anymore. We are feeling its might be a valve spring or the magneto, or rearend is the problem.

Update from opening night.

Opening night didn’t go like we wanted. We unloaded and hot laps went well.

We started p2 in the heat race, and I made a rookie mistake in turn 3. I spun the car out, 2 other cars had no where to go, and hit the front end, and rear. Damage was too severe to continue for the night so we DNS for the main.

We will get it fixed and be back. Want to thank everyone for there support.
