Your AOH Mambas officially wrapped up their season with MAYB Nationals placing 5th out of 50 teams!

This season wasn’t just about basketball. It was about US. A group of girls and their families who refused to let the world tell us what we couldn’t do. We blocked out the hate, negativity, and opinions that didn't promote growth. We’ve faced moments that could have broken us… but instead, they built us. We learned that when one of us falls, we were all equipped to lift each other higher. That when we lock hands, pray together, believe in each other, and play with heart...there are NO limits. These West Texas ladies learned more than ever not to measure success in what they get, but instead have the mind of a builder and measure in what they give and grow! We’re not just growing as athletes… we’re growing as women—strong in body, sharp in mind, and grounded in spirit. This game is shaping who we are, and who we’re becoming is bigger than the game we all LOVE!

We’re more than a team. We’re family. Not every moment was perfect, but one thing for sure...we stood by one another through every season, and together, there’s nothing we can’t take on!

Your AOH MAMBAS came back with some hardware at the Dallas Super 64 National tournament this weekend!! girls played some tuff competition and went 4-1 over the weekend, with a buzzer be**er against Lady Jets and a tuff loss against Team Lex Under Armour. Congrats ladies!!

Your AOH Mambas having team dinner after practice. The strongest teams are built not just on skills, but on laughter shared, challenges overcome, and the unspoken bond of knowing someone always has your back. After all, true team bonding happens in the quiet moments, in the encouragement, the inside jokes, and the unwavering support that turns teammates into lifelong friends.

Our girls will be traveling next week to AAU World Nationals in Knoxville, TN. These girls continue to chase greatness in effort, unity, and heart through the highest of highs and lowest of lowest, their growth and resilience is a beautiful thing to witness.

AOH MAMBAS traveled to Wichita Kansas this last weekend and took 3rd place in the MAYB Summer Kick off! 26 teams and really played to our full potential. Thank you Austin Johnson's Academy of Hoops for all the support and thank you for getting us in for this tournament!! 🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🤙🤙

Your AOH Mambas played in the 7/8 grade bracket for G4G Memorial weekend Jamfest and brought home the gold! It’s a team but more importantly, a family. Proud of not only how these girls played, but them coming together and cheering each other on. Building that sisterhood one day at a time. We are also blessed with some amazing parents who all play a part in pouring into these girls.

AOH Mambas finished in Heart of Texas Showcase strong with their final win 43-35, with tough competition against 2031 LA United Bouncenation Elite. Proud is an understatement as they continue to compete, develop, and overcome! Austin Johnson's Academy of Hoops

Thankful for a team of sponsors and Mambas families that believe in these girls so much that they have unlimited opportunities to experience! They not only got to play in a different environment, they also got to see some of the best players in action!
