A Divison will setup a match scenario so you get an understanding about the different matches and what happens during a match.
You'll need to bring eye and ear protection to each one. Before each event will let you know if there is anything special to bring (firearm and/or ammo).
Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Division will kick off the program on April 17th at 4:30PM this will go until 5:30PM. This will be FREE for ALL PCSI MEMBERS and family over 14 years of age can participate.
The club's M1 Garands and AR-15 competition rifles and ammo will be available to shoot at CMP targets.
Mike Cornell will give an overview of how a match is ran. Never shot an M1, now's your chance!
Conveniently the following weekend, Mike will be hold our Junior and CMP division matches.
For these matches, all you need is eye/ear protection and a long sleeved shirt to help prevent brass burns.
By the way, at every Junior/CMP match you can shoot the club's rifles (and for CMP purchase ammo to shoot at cost).
If you are able to show up a bit early and stay after the shoot, Mike would appreciate some help with setup and teardown.
