Lone Star Horse Center Owned and operated by Willians and Pamela Castaneda, specializing in Peruvian horses, offering training, showing ,and sales to the public.

Lone Star Horse Center is a small, family facility. We breed and show a few Peruvian horses for our own enjoyment, as well as offer training, showing and consignment sales for the public. We specialize in Peruvian horses sharing 35+ years experience between us. We also offer training for other gaited breeds.

Training and board $600
* Board includes coastal grass hay, alfalfa and

grain. Supplements are extra. Boarding only $300

Hoof trimming $50


If Dental care is needed, I have a certified horse dentist that comes to the ranch $100 per horse. Transport to vet clinic $30 per trip
( ranch visits can be arranged; subject to vets call charges)

De-worming $5-$15 depending on type of de-wormer used. Show expenses are figured as total of all expenses divided by number of owners. Diesel costs will be calculated at $1 per mile ( one way)

There is a flat rate "show fee" of $100 per horse on top of travel expense.
