Alvin Yoga in the Park

Hello fellow yogis, long time no chat. I hope you're enjoying the new year.

I've had to make the difficult decision that I won't be able to teach this Spring season. However, I would like to offer a Yoga in the Park Day. It will be in either April or May on a Saturday, and it'll be a 45 minute session.

I will let y'all know when I have a date and time set so stay tuned!

As we welcome back the sun with longer days after the solstice, move your body with Sun Salutations. ☀️ Sun salutations warm the body up just like the sun warms the earth.

May you all enjoy the longest night of the year with friends and loved ones ☺️

And treat the body, mind and soul to a moon salutation. Moon salutations are cooling to the body as opposed to the heat that Sun salutations bring.

Hello fellow yogis! I hope you’re all doing well this holiday season.

As you know, we practice underneath the large tree canopies of Oak Park here in town. Would you like to be apart of growing future tree canopies for the City of Alvin?

If so, email Don Nelson at [email protected] for more information about growing tree seedlings for future plantings. He could also use some nursery style plastic pots for the seedlings.

Volunteer today for the trees of tomorrow ☺️🌳

Starting Monday October 7th, Alvin Yoga in the Park will be leading ✨Free✨ 30 minute yoga classes at National Oak Park in Alvin, Tx for the month of October. Bring a yoga mat and some water with you as we vibe under the trees. See you there! 🌳🧘‍♀️
