Well summer time is officially here. Today was high 90's and we had to wait till evening to train. Day 4 was not my best day, but my trainer worked me through my frustrations and we managed to finish the day with a good pattern. She's off to the beach for a week. I get a week break and then it's back to the grind.

The best part of this new training i'm undergoing is when I get through the fun rides I get to have.

Day 3 of barrel training. We seem to be getting better. I finally recognize what these big tall round things are, and I know I need to go around them a certain way that partner Is teaching me to do. So today was a good day. After our training, we got to ride in our 120 acre. Pasture, and it was a lot of fun.

Welcome to my page. I belong to my 70 year old human Sonja Thomas Who brought me to come to live with her at the age of 2 I am now 8. I have had many exciting adventures. I had a great guy named Tim train me when I was 2 and taught me how to act under a saddle he gave me a great great foundation to build on. I have had extensive calf roping training and do see it in my future somewhere down the road. My other human Chris the calf roper Is using my good buddy Django at the moment and he is doing fantastic. I Hope to someday have him do the same on me. For now though we are going to give this world of barrel racing a try and my current human Kyra who I just met and I really like (she reminds me of my Granny human who takes time and has patience with me). I'm looking forward to building this new relationship With her so Come join us on this new ride.
