Alva Group Exercise Hey there! I’m thrilled to share my journey in group exercise (GX) that began back in the late 1990s with step and high-impact aerobics.

After a move to beautiful Key Largo, I had the pleasure of teaching at Curves and the Baptist Health Mariners Wellness Center. In 2014, I took a leap of faith and started my own business from scratch. I kicked things off with just me as the instructor and four amazing students. Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown to a fantastic team of 6 to 8 instructors, all depending on the season, and we can

host up to 65 participants in a single class! I’m still teaching in the gorgeous Florida Keys and managing the Key Largo Group Exercise Program, which now has over 960 amazing followers on Facebook! We’re also proud to be affiliated with the Alva Group Exercise team. Alongside my wonderful Keys team, we offer a fun variety of classes like Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba in the Sand, Zumba at Sea, Dance, Cardio Sculpt, 20/20/20, Yoga, Stretch & Release, Total Body, Line Dancing, and African Dance. I can’t wait to bring some of these classes to the Alva Community Center! Each class lasts about 50 minutes and costs just $7.00. Come join us for some dancing, sweating, and lots of laughs! We can’t wait to meet you and share some joy together!

I’m absolutely speechless, and it does not happen often! When I take my four totally different Zumba dance teams from different locations and combine them into one team at a local brewery, the results are absolutely amazing! I am so proud of these ladies! None of them had ever danced in a brewery before, and over half of them did not know each other. When we were done, we were an amazing family! So much so that we’ve been asked to come back the first Thursday of every month to bring our energy and vibe! Kudos to you, ladies, and awesome job! I am so proud of you all!
