Kevin Miller of Altoona, Pennsylvania, owner of Allegheny Wingshooting, has been hunting waterfowl for 40 years. He was introduced to waterfowl hunting by his father when he was just old enough to wade through the duck marsh and walk through the fields. Instantly, Kevin fell in love with the art of calling and decoying his quarry well within gun range. Along with waterfowl, he also avidly pursues
turkey, upland birds, and enjoys archery hunting for whitetails as well. Keeping with challenge, he trains his own gun dogs for success in field trials and the hunt. In his 40 years, Kevin has lived and hunted in numerous states, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Mexico, New York, Maryland, Missouri, Texas, Wyoming, Arizona, North/South Dakota and Colorado, among others, including two provinces of Canada. This experience embedded in him the dream of running his own guide services, leading to the creation of Allegheny Wingshooting. He really enjoys being able to teach others about the proper art of waterfowling. When Kevin is not hunting, he enjoys tournament bass fishing, fly-fishing on local trout waters, cycling, snowboarding, photography, and spending time with his children, teaching them about nature and the outdoors.
