Altoona Tang Soo Do/Judo Altoona Tang Soo Do has fourteen Master instructors (4th, 5th, 6th Degree Black Belts. We have fifteen 1st,2nd,3rd Black belts to help. Team Members.

We have 80 years as REAL street police officers. We teach Tang Soo Do and Judo Tang Soo Do is widely recognized as a Korean martial art. We use Tang Soo Do as a basic training tool and we train our students in Judo and Jujitsu. We have certified Master Instructors in every class, sometimes as many as ten at any given time to teach every class. Basic forms training will help you develop basic techn

iques but in real life situations, forms will not help you defend yourself in the street. There are instructors out there that have never been in a real confrontation in their life, yet they make claims to be real martial art and self-defense instructors. We have Master Instructors that have eighty years of experience as Police Officers. They also served as S.W.A.T. We guarantee that everyone of our certified Master Instructor can and has kicked butt in real life, not at some tournament.. We have trained police officers; sheriff's deputies; prison guards and other occupations that deal in physical confrontation everyday. We have instructors that served this great country in COMBAT and know what the real world is about. We can document teenage students that have had to defend themselves from school bullies and some of those bullies needed medical care. If you want to see what we are about, please call or just come in to observe a class and we can show you or your children what we are about. Our rates have been the same for the past 26 years, $30 per month for one student or $45 per month for all additional students from the same family.

🏆 2026 Joe Goss Karate Invitational Tournament

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 13th at the 1st Summit Arena in Johnstown, PA.

Students will compete in Forms, Breaking, and Point Fighting, showcasing their training, discipline, and martial arts spirit.
