PROGRESS SECRET
How many hours of sleep have you lost over wishing something about your body would change.
A lot of that most likely stems from unrealistic expectations we set for ourselves based off what we see on social media or the untrue opinions we create in our head.
If you want to see change and make a change then start with being 100 percent real with yourself about your daily habits, and then understand most of what you see on social media is all smoke and mirrors.
The photo on the left is me in me at 18 and the photo on the right is from a couple of months ago. A little over 5 years of training.
Here’s what I learned.
1. Stop micro managing and focus on the little day to day things you can control
- food intake
- sleep
- Training
2. Be patient with yourself. It takes TIME!
I know that isn’t what you wanted to hear because we live in an instant gratification world where everything is readily available to us at the push of a few buttons.
3. Don’t negotiate with yourself or lie to yourself.
Look no one is perfect 100 percent of the time but stop lying to yourself and telling yourself that you’re doing good when you eat like sh*t, train like a wuss, and have the discipline of a 5 year old.
Now I realize number 3 is probably a hard to swallow pill and with that bullet point I’ve lost most of you, but here’s the cool part. You are capable of all those things. The human body and mind are amazing things capable of great things if you give yourself time and show up consistently. By doing those things you will surpass what you believe you are capable of.
If you want help along your journey or have some questions shoot me a message or just ask them in the comments I’d love to help you out!!!!
