"A blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while"

Direct quote from one of our favorite patron's John Ulrich of Brighton,IL, as he described his ace on the Par 3 7th hole today at Cloverleaf. At 82 years young, John ripped his ping 7 wood landing just short of the hole. The search commenced and after a couple minutes, the only place left to look was the cup. Low and Behold, John's Pinnacle rested at the bottom of the cup just waiting to be discovered. Ironically, both John's Aces have come on Lucky Number 7 at the Leaf.

Only question is who will be the next one to get Lucky at the Leaf?

If you were unable to stick around to collect your winnings you can pick them up at Cloverleaf Golf Course, all that is required is a photo ID.

Good Morning-ish Cloverleaf Patrons,

Happy to announce that registration is now open for the 45th Annual Cloverleaf Invitational(also known as the Big Money Scramble). The deets are on the flyer but just a couple reminders.

Date: September 13th
12:30 PM Sh***un Start (Registration an hour prior to start)

Entry:$320 a team ($80 a player)

This is a ONE flight event. We pay the Top 9 teams(and ties) in the tourney.

We also play 8somes, to keep the field honest.

Everyone and I mean everyone plays from the BLUE TEES

There is also ONE skins pot that generally gets up around $2800 dollars. (Skins $80 a team)

Pre-payment for the event gets you a practice round with cart anyday leading up to the day of the event(No you cannot play your practice round the day of the tournament!)

Cloverleaf will be closed to the public today to host the Red Moore Shoot-out present by Dark Soil C*D. We have limited tee times available sunday morning due to the 1-Man Scramble at 1 PM.

To everyone playing in the Red Moore, We will NOT be cart path only but the turf is extremely saturated due to last nights storms. Please use extreme caution when driving and avoid all lows areas and puddles.This won't be the last time you hear this today :)

In conjunction with the Alton Golf Hall of Fame, we are happy to announce that the Alton Gold Medal will be held at Lockhaven Golf Club on August 15 & 16th. You can register for this event by clicking on the link below. You can find all the information for the event in the comment section, come compete in the oldest stroke play event in the Riverbend Area.
