LTD Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in AMA Pro Road Racing, the top level of competition in the United States. Tomas Puerta won at Daytona and was a strong contender in the East division title fight. Huntley Nash, after proving himself in 2010, jumped up to the Daytona SportBike class and had a solid learning year, earning 11th in points for the highly competitive class. Nash finished 12 of 13 races in the points and did not crash all year as he learned the ropes racing against the “big boys.”
In 2010, the team won six SuperSport races and finished on the podium 24 times. Joey Pascarella won three races and earned a contract from another team, in line with the squad’s plans. Nash won three races, including storming to victory at Laguna Seca in front of the MotoGP crowd. Additionally, Tomas Puerta and jake Gagne earned the podium for LTD Racing. In the team’s first season (2009) LTD Racing earned the podium with Pascarella and Nash as the squad took its first foray into AMA Pro competition with teenage racers. GOALS
LTD Racing sees their role in the AMA paddock as providing a fertile ground for young riders to hone their craft. Talent is the key component for success in racing and LTD Racing sees the team as a path for talented racers to make the next step. Huntley Nash, David Gaviria, Tomas Puerta, and Joey Pascarella all earned their first AMA Pro podiums and wins with LTD Racing. The priorities are placed on putting on a similar program to a factory team relating to how the riders work with their mechanics and how they approach setup and race strategy.
