We at Hufstedlers would like to apologize to anyone that had experienced issue last year. As most of you know it was our first year (learning year), boy did we learn the hard way on some things.
We struggled with equipment condition & workers in the beginning of the year but had some great reliable workers by year’s end. We are offering 10% off your entire 2025 booking in addition to the 5% in rewards. If you book your 2025 float online between now & APril 1st put the code 10off in the coupon code box to receive it. You can set your trip for anytime in 2025.
We have made a lot of changes. We have bought 4 new shuttle vans with tons of room for you & your gear, 5 new busses. We misjudged the condition of equipment. We have been through most all of it & have completed repairs on most all of it or if not worth repairing have culled it out. We are adding straps on all our kayaks this off season to carry your coolers & gear. We have bought several cooler tubes as well. We are adding 2 new studio cabins this year.(Will be available online shortly).
We are also currently working on a small cafe & gourmet coffee shop in our store as well, we hope to have it completely done by May. It will offer breakfast sandwiches, biscuits & gravy, small dinner items like hamburgers, French fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, Philly cheese steak egg rolls, latte, espresso, straight coffee, etc.
We are adding a guest internet on the property as well. It will cover at least 1/2 the property. Primitive camping may not have it but the shower house, cabins, RV spots, store, electric tent camping should all be covered.
We will also have a new bus schedule so no one has to wait an extreme amount of time for a bus. You will need to select your times when booking & be sure you arrive 30 minutes before these times to ensure you get checked in, loaded on the bus & enjoying our great river in a timely manner.
The schedule is as follows:
“Canebluff & greer bus will depart @ 8:15 & noon. This will allow you folks that want to get on the river early & those that want to get on at a later time.
Turner bus will leave @ 8:30 & 10. This will give everyone time if you want to spend all day playing in the river or if you want to spend less time playing & just float.
Whitten bus will leave @ 8:30, 10 & 12. This will give everyone time if you want to spend all day playing in the river or if you want to spend less time playing & just float.
Note: on slow days whitten & turner trips may be taken together.
Riverton to 142 you can arrive at anytime after 8 & before 12.
If you miss your scheduled time you will need to wait until the next bus. If you miss the last bus out @ noon your float will change to Riverton to 142. You will need to be at your takeout spots by 6pm. “ this will allow everyone to have a great trip on the river & get back from your trip to allow our workers to go home to their family’s earlier.
We will be making several changes to the website for the new year & would love feedback on the ease of how things work for you & ask for your patients with changes Incase there are any short term issues with features not working.
As always we are here to help you anytime. Feel free to call, text, email us with issues, questions, concerns or even if you need anything after the store closes while you are here. We live on property to be able to assist you with your needs.
FYI. We are here all year to take you floating if you’re interested in off season floating. Visit Hufstedlers.com to book your trip. We appreciate your business & hope to see you all again this year.
