Spine extension is very important for posture & health. Our spine is made to move in various different planes - extension, flexion, lateral flexion (side bend), & rotation (twist). Without active thought during daily life activities we can lose the natural curve of the spine, and our back becomes out of balance. Taking time to move our spine through these different planes of movement can help keep our backs in balance.
