So after having a few days recovery in Vancouver, time to rest the body and mind, time to reflect on the past 6 months. The time has come to put this adventure to bed and start thinking of the next....
Just before that I'd just like to thank everyone for following along on this incredible journey, for the comments and support, on the days of struggle, and there were many. The knowledge people were following along certainly made those days easier.
Met so many incredible people, both young and old who helped reset the belief in humanity, too many to mention personally. But certainly walking with Kax and Autumn, who pulled me from the jaws of a ragging river then set about patching me up before i really knew what was going on, and of course DJ, who on various days dragged me long both mentally and physically when stopping would have been easier....
Meeting up with him on the bus in San Diego and walking for 5 months together, finishing at the border with Canada, has really been one of the best experiences I've had in this life, and of course Sarge whom I also walked many miles with too.
Below are just a few of my favourite photos, more to follow....
