Grant From Supervisor Barger Keeps Altadena Swimming Pool Open Through September 30

For the second year running, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger is paying to keep Altadena’s public pool open past the end of the county’s summer season.

This morning, these aquatics athletes completed their first hill workout of summer training! Keeping traditions alive! Great job boys!!!! This cross training will pay off when water polo season starts this fall! 💪 💪 💪💙💛💙💛

Nick is a true Mustang! He competed in the CIF State Swimming Championship Paralympic events all four years of high school representing Muir HS! He grew,got stronger, and faster and has been a delight to coach. 2nd place in both 50 and 100 free! We had a great time up at Clovis West High School! Congrats to your hard work and accomplishments Nick!

Great time at Pacific League Finals! Boys JV and Varsity came in 4th out of 8 teams and Girls JV -4th and Girls Varsity 6th overall.
Congrats to Rosio for 1st in 200IM and 100 breast and Girls Varsity Medely Relay -2nd place!
Next up: CIF SS D3 Championship- Rosio in 200 IM and 100 Breast, Boys Medley Relay (Aaron, Gus, Marco and Zander), Elia 100 back, Aaron 100 back, Nick Paralympic 50 and 100 free. Let’s Go Mustangs!!
