A horse doesn't have to be an athlete to benefit from massage therapy.

There are some signs you can look for to determine whether your horse might benefit from massage therapy:

Shortened strides
Sore back
Stiffness, unwillingness to bend to the left or right
Problems picking up the canter, bucking during transitions
Tripping and stumbling
Change in demeanor

Just fooling around in the pasture, a horse can pull a muscle and come up sore.

Here, therapy techniques helped work through tension in the longissimus Doris into the gluteus muscles and opened a tight shoulder. This will give these spectacular horses an advantage when they hit the show ring!
