Nchila Wildlife Reserve Nchila is home to some of Africa’s most beautiful animals and birds in a nature reserve of stunning natural beauty in the remote NW corner of Zambia.

The Fisher family has been living in the remote North western province for over 100 years since Dr. Walter Fisher, a missionary surgeon, first arrived on the continent in the late 1800’s. Pete Fisher, part of the 4th generation of this family, first opened Nchila Wildlife Reserve in 1993 and has continued to expand it into one of the foremost game reserves in Zambia. His commitment to and love of

the Lunda people and land of this district are reflected in the successful management of both the Nchila properties.
