We are so lucky to bring on two new lesson horses, thanks to MaryAnn Pittman of Birch Creek Stables. Romeo and Dagger are wonderful, safe lesson horses who have taught so many kids how to ride in Star Valley. We’re so excited to have them join our lesson program and summer camps!

We’re getting excited about all the fun we’re going to have at the arena this summer! Our summer camps are booking up fast so make sure that you sign your child up to reserve a spot. We have some clinics in the works too. Think of it as an adult horse summer camp for the day! Let us know in the comments if there’s a clinician you would love to have us host at Skyhawk.

Looking for a horseback summer camp for your child that is fun, safe and teaches life-long equestrian skills? Your child will fall in love with our ponies and mini donkeys!

We teach kids not only how to be comfortable in the saddle, but also how to be a leader and confidently handle horses on the ground. Our instructors are wonderful, advanced riders and trainers who have spent their whole lives riding and are thrilled to share their love of horses with their students.

Your child will learn...
* how to care for horses
* different breeds, colors, tack, and disciplines
* leadership skills and confidence

The day begins with taking care of the horses, grooming them and making sure they are well cared for. Then they have their riding lesson which includes obstacle courses, barrels, poles, and more. After that, the kids enjoy lunch in our clubhouse, a free play time, then a horse lesson and craft. Then they bathe horses, learn how to round pen and lunge horses, or take a ride outside of the arena.

Your child will come home dusty, tired and happy!

Looking to get a horse this spring/summer, but you would like help training and caring for him?

We have paddocks opening up soon and we are taking on new board and train clients.

Our facility in located in Alpine, WY just outside of Jackson Hole and offers full service boarding, lessons, training and care.

We truly love horses and our team is dedicated to keeping your horse healthy and safe.

We feed high-quality local hay that is an alfalfa and grass mix. Feeding and wellness checks are performed twice per day.

We offer full-care packages that include training and exercise that are perfect for busy professionals, people who travel, or people who are new to horse ownership.

Our indoor arena is 63,000 sq ft with a main arena that is 200x150, a warmup arena that is 50x100 and a 50’ round pen. Other amenities include - two large tackrooms in the heated barn, heated wash racks, and a solarium to dry your horse faster in the winter months. Soon, boarders will also enjoy the arena-viewing clubhouse that has a full kitchen with coffee and tea, and comfortable places to work or catch up with friends.

During the warmer months, boarders can enjoy access to endless national forest trails.

Boarders can also sign up for our clinics and events, mounted shooting, roping, barrel racing and arena polo.
