Sei Shin Jitsu is a concept based martial art that focuses on both self-protection and competition. Officially the style is call Bushido Sei Shin Jitsu; Way of the Warrior Spirit, however the common name is simply Sei Shin Jitsu. The Sei Shin Jitsu system has been in development since 1987. Inasi

o Anzures had been a student of Koei Kan Karate beginning in 1972. After a succesful career in Professional Kickboxing, Anzures broke away from the Koei-Kan system over differences in the applicability of the techniques and principles. Tired of an unrealistic foundation for training he decided to focus on more practical concepts and real life application for both Sport and Street. This transformation began with restructuring the requirements for each belt and bringing Kickboxing combinations to the forefront of the teachings for beginners. The change-over continued over the years with the addition of more throws, joint locking, and self-defense techniques taken from Judo, Jujitsu, and Aikido. Bushido Sei Shin Jitsu in 2012 is comprised of two major components. Each one has its own course of instruction and belt ranking structure so individual students can choose the course of instruction that suits their needs. MARTIAL ARTS;
This component teaches everything off the principles of what works. The system uses concepts from Street style arts (Karate, Jujitsu, Vee Jitsu, Aikido, and Arnis) and Sport oriontated arts (Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jujitsu, and Judo) to create a comprehensive program that will make you skilled on the street as well as the cage or ring. The Martial Arts component uses real techniques for real situations! There are NO ineffective movements, NO complex ceremonies, and NO prearranged forms. Sei Shin Jitsu teaches technique that works all the time, every time. SPORT MIXED MARTIAL ARTS;
The Sport component is designed for the student that wants to focus on honing their skills against an opponent in the cage or ring. We focus our teaching on skills that you need to not just win a competition but how to dominate in the arena. We train the effective techniques of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Submission Grappling, Wrestling, and Mixed Martial Arts. MMA is one of the biggest growing sports in the nation and a lot of schools and systems are jumping on the "bandwagon." Sei Shin Jitsu has always had the necessary skills and experience to train competitiors to the highest level. Many crossover students have come to us when they got tired of losing.
