Want lightning-fast hands at the net in pickleball? ⚡️ Here’s how to train your reaction speed so you can win more hands battles and dominate fast exchanges:

1.Rapid-Fire Volleys (Partner Drill) Stand at the kitchen line with a partner and exchange quick volleys—no backswing, just punch the ball back. Focus on compact movements and quick resets. Start slow, then increase speed.

2.Wall Reaction Drill Hit the ball against a wall from close range (6–10 feet). Keep your paddle up and react quickly as the ball rebounds unpredictably. Great for solo training!

3. Paddle Tap Reflex DrillHave a partner randomly tap your paddle left or right while you’re in ready position. React by moving your paddle instantly to match. This builds hand-eye coordination and reaction timing.

4.Ball Drop Reaction Partner holds a ball at shoulder height and drops it without warning. Your job? Catch it before it hits the ground. Progression: use your paddle instead of your hand.

5.Speed-Up & Reset Drill One player speeds up the ball (hard shot), the other resets softly into the kitchen. Switch roles. This trains both reaction speed AND control under pressure.

Pro Tips: Keep your paddle up and in front (ready position!) Stay loose—tight muscles slow you down-Watch your opponent’s paddle, not just the ball-Train short bursts (10–20 seconds) for max intensity

Consistency beats everything. Add these drills to your routine 3–4 times a week and your hands will get FAST. ⚡️🏓 💪

Sometimes the most heartwarming moments come when you least expect them. Yesterday, I received a Valentine’s card from one of our amazing nine-year-old players in our group pickleball lessons, and it truly reminded me why this community is so special and why I love what I do! ❤️
Watching players of all ages come together, learn, laugh, and support each other has been incredible. Everyone has shown so much patience, encouragement, and willingness to grow — and that’s what makes our group lessons more than just practice… it’s a family being built one rally at a time ❤️
I’m so grateful for every person who shows up ready to learn, improve, and lift each other up. Our lessons have been filled with positivity, progress, and so many unforgettable moments.
A huge thank you to HEAD Pickleball for always supporting me with your amazing paddles, clothing, gear, and equipment — your support helps make all of this possible.

Finally got to get out and play some Pickleball today!!! This is what it feels like here and what I feel it looks like 😂 reality is I’m terrified to drive on Ice slushy roads! Thank goodness for friends who drive all wheel drive!!! Be safe everyone!!! This shall not last too long!
