Big congratulations to our team for competing this past weekend at 2024 USAPL Raw Nationals!

We had 4 outstanding performances.

Quentin White:
290/217.5/327.5 with an 835kg total, placing 11th in the 100kg open division.

Joel Chong:
262.5/155/327.5 with a 745kg total placing 6th in the 90kg junior division.

Tate Hansard:
250/165/245 with a 660kg total placing 3rd in the 110kg teen 3 division.

Samantha Ulysse:
167.5/82.5/187.5 with a 437.5kg total placing 1st in the 75kg teen 3 division.

They have all worked incredibly hard in and out the gym! Again, big congratulations for stepping on the national stage and performing well! We hope to see more faces from Truborn on the national platform!

Huge congratulations to everyone who competed this past weekend at the 3rd annual Truborn Knockout!

There was a great turnout and an absolutely electric atmosphere all weekend long.

Some cool statistics:

- Heaviest male total was 800 kg
- Heaviest female total was 392.5 kg

- Youngest competitor was 12
- Oldest competitor was 63

- Heaviest Male Squat: 315 kg
- Heaviest Male Bench: 190 kg
- Heaviest Male Deadlift: 300 kg

- Heaviest Female Squat: 150 kg
- Heaviest Female Bench: 82.5 kg
- Heaviest Female Deadlift: 175 kg

August is right around the corner, and it’s looking like it’s going to be a HEAVY month! We have a total of 33 competitors across all our coaches all competing at the Truborn Knockout. That is 28% of the Knockout roster!

This is the first time since the Georgia State Championship that we have at least one athlete from every coach on our staff competing in the same month, let alone the same meet!

A big warm welcome to the one and only Geno, who will be the Truborn Knockout MC!

We are incredibly excited to have him join us for this meet. He always brings the energy and the hype, whether it’s a national or local level meet.

We do have quite a few people on the roster that have hit or have the potential to hit the number of the powerlifter 👀 iykyk.

We are now just under a month out from the Truborn Knockout, and to wrap up local rivalries, we have a 3 way rivalry in the 110kg men’s division.

We have Brayden Naus, Addison Mock, and Carlton Beasley all having totaled 730, 735, and 772.5 in their previous meets, respectively. Carlton achieved this total as a 125kg but is cutting down to 110kg.

All three are known for their tremendous squats, all with 600+ lbs squats. Will Carlton’s total be affected by this cut? And if it is, by how much?

Love the constant consistency we see with them. It’s an honor to watch them all get stronger, healthier and happier throughout the months and years we’ve been with them.

In 5 weeks, the Truborn Knockout is shaping up for some fierce competition in the 75kg women’s open division.

There are 3 strong contenders for 🥇. Lauren Mayger is currently seeded for 1st with a 372.5kg total, doing so at the weight class below!

Now that Lauren is able to eat into the weight class and not worry about cutting, can Hannah or Michelle overcome this advantage?
