One of the biggest changes I notice during late summer is that my digestion becomes more delicate.
In Ayurveda, our digestive fire—or agni—naturally softens during periods of intense heat as the body works to stay cool. Rather than eating heavier meals, I find it more supportive to sip a soothing digestive tea throughout the day made with cumin, coriander, fennel, mint, turmeric, and dill.
It’s a simple ritual that helps me feel lighter, supports healthy digestion, and keeps me hydrated. 🌿
These are the kinds of simple, seasonal practices that inspire my approach to longevity—learning to listen to the body, adapt with the seasons, and create daily rituals that support vitality over time.
I’ll be sharing more of this Ayurvedic approach to nourishment, self-care, and longevity at ourAyurveda Longevity Retreat in Punta Mita, Mexico, March 19–26, 2027. More info: https://www.kvinstitute.org/wiselife-longevity-retreat
Because longevity isn’t just about living longer. It’s about feeling well enough to fully enjoy the life we’re living. ✨
