We have totals from the 5th annual Alpha Ice Bowl! We had 22 players from all over the yoop play true to the "no wimps, no whiners" motto. We had rain, snow and sun with a high of 34°; mud, ice and 12+ inches of snow. Thank you to all the players who made it out and played through all the conditions yesterday.

This year we raised $550 and 122 pounds of food. The biggest cash donation to date!That brings out total donations over the last 5 years to $1,850 and 654 pounds of food for the Guardian Angels food pantry in Crystal Falls.

We had 6 people bring chili for this years cook-off. Even had some Blackberry crumble for dessert. Thank you everyone that contributed to our lunch!

The numbers from the 3rd annual Alpha Ice Bowl are in! We had a beautiful sunny day with no snow. There were 13 participants. We raised $400 cash and 125 pounds of food for the Crystal Falls food pantry. Despite being our lowest turn out to date, the generosity of the community helped us reach a sizable donation. Thank you to everyone who played or donated. Thank you to Second Shot Discs for the stack of plastic we gave away. Thank you to Alpha Michigan Brewing Company for allowing us to utilize the brewery for part of the event. Thank you to the Village of Alpha and Mastodon Twp for having the disc golf course. Over the last 3 events we have donated $1,000 and 435 pounds of food. We will be back next year!
