Hi everyone,

With summer winding down, I wanted to encourage everyone who hasn't already to register for our Fitter & Faster All Four Strokes Camp at Alpena Plaza Pool on August 8 & 9.

This is the weekend I keep coming back to when I think about how our swimmers finish the summer. Meets are done, fall training has not started, and it is the one stretch where a swimmer can work on all four strokes with nothing else pulling at them. The swimmers who spend that weekend in the water are the ones who show up in the fall ahead, and those first weeks back set the tone for the whole season.

A number of our families have already grabbed their spots, and as a reminder we are covering a portion of the costs to help ensure as many swimmers as possible are able to take advantage.

Bay Athletic Club is doing yoga on the beach tomorrow morning! It is free and open to community. They are asking just for a donation and they picked the money to go towards our schooners swim team! Hope to see some of you there!

Hi everyone,

We are very excited to share that we are producing a Fitter & Faster All Four Strokes Swim Camp at the Alpena Plaza Pool on August 8 & 9, open to swimmers ages 9 & Over. Your swimmer will spend two days working with elite clinicians on butterfly, freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, sharpening the technique that makes every race faster.

To make this accessible to every family who wants in, registration is subsidized for Thunder Bay Schooner swimmers if you register by the end of the weekend (Sunday, June 28). $50 off for single session and $100 off all 4 sessions. Message us for the coupon code!
