Alpena FC Boys U12 Green Team

The Green team opened up play against Grayling and LSC last weekend. They were able to pull off two victories with several players getting goal scoring opportunities. The back line helped secure the win. Henry LeMonds played in net and had the help of defensive players, Lucas Reynolds, Reed Lappan, Ivan Krentz and Kayleb Hepburn. The team takes on two tournaments in the next two weekends. They’ll first head to Rochester Hills on 9/12 for The Lightning Cup, followed by The Autumn Classic in TC.

Alpena FC Boys U12 WHITE Team

Not every game goes the way you hope, but there was still a LOT to be proud of last Sunday! Team White battled through a close 2–3 loss in the first game and then went up against a very strong opponent in the second. No matter the score, they kept fighting, encouraged each other, and never gave up. For most of these boys, this is their first season playing travel soccer, and every game brings new lessons and opportunities to grow. Last week was a great reminder that it’s not always about the scoreboard — it’s about effort, attitude, teamwork, and continuing to get better. Proud of these boys! Keep working hard!

This little blue rebel was discovered attempting to escape its soccer career and start a new life in the wild.

It has been taken into protective custody pending identification by its human family.

Please message us if it's yours. The ball has requested a lawyer and refuses to answer questions without a juice box present. 💙😂⚽
