At the start of the season, we faced major challenges- shortage of players, tough availability, and uncertainty that tested our commitment.

But instead of giving up, we chose belief. We chose each other. We chose to fight. 💚

This year, that belief paid off in the best possible way! 💪🔥

And the story doesn’t end there — we’ve also *qualified for T30 Division 1,* finishing 2nd in Division 2!

What a day of cricket! The Viking Reds held their nerve and emerged winners in a tightly fought game against the Portland Spartans today. The Reds came back strong after a 15 minute stoppage due to a controversial appeal and decision given against the Reds. Boys however took it in their stride and continued to let the bat do the talking unlike the opposition and completed a successful run chase. The captain Prasanth Vinayak led from the front and decimated the opposition in all departments followed by an excellent finish by the dynamic duo Prasanth Reddy and Bharadwaj Thandra to completely silence the opposition. Go Viks!

The Viking Blues have done it yet again. They have pulled off a double this year by winning the T30 championship following the T20 championship earlier this summer. The team put their best foot forward for the all important finals and held their nerve to clinch the championship. Thanks to a stylish ton by the captain Rance himself and a crucial spell by our OCL veteran Jaiganesh. Also, a big shout out to our top performers Kiran - with the bat and Sakthi - with the ball, who have been top class through out the season. Go Viks!

Portland Viking Reds successfully chased down 312 in 30 overs against Beaverton United to complete a remarkable victory. Fabulous century by Avaneesh K Shetty (131 off 70) and a great knock by Vijay Ganesh Kesana (84 off 57) set up the chase before Sujit Reddy (39 off 18), Ankit Sinha and Adeel Altaf (13 off 6) sealed the win. Great effort and brilliant display by Vikings! !!!

Cricket Season is back!

Have you had enough of the Oregon Fall and Winter? Are you eager to step out and have some fun playing sports? Want to be part of a Championship caliber team, make new friends and improve your game? Then, Vikings is the team for you! We are looking to add players to our teams Vikings Blues and Vikings Reds.

Vikings is one of the most consistent teams in Oregon Cricket League, winning the T20 Championship in 2014 and Runners up in 2015, 16 and 17. We are also T30 Semi-Finalist in 2014, 15, 16 and Runners up in 2017!

We (Vikings) may not be from the Nordic region, but our heart and passion for winning puts us not too far off from the real ones!!! We are a bunch of passionate and competitive sportsmen, yet friendly and respectful to our opponents and hence regarded as one of the best teams in the League.

Back to where we belong! Following up an outstanding T20 season, the Viking Blues finish at the top of the table at the end of the 2017 T30 regular season. This is the 3rd time the Vikings have achieved this feat in the last 4 years! Hats off to Kiran for ending up as the top scorer and to the 2nd highest wicket taker of the league Avaneesh. Great stuff fellas!! Time to bring the baby home!

A fabulous weekend for the Vikings as register their highest ever T20 score of 215, thanks to some brutal batting by Rance 101(65), well supported by Shetty 40(26) and Kiran 56(32). The on the other hand pulled off a last ball thriller, courtesy Prasad who scalped 6 for 34 runs which happens to be the best figures for a Viking! Veterans Kesana and Sai shined with the bat scoring 52 and 40* to bring the home!
