WHO IS READY FOR BEAR SEASON?! 🐻

Daniel Wirth, Barron County (WI), took a bear in 2025 that measured at 22 7/16” making it the 4th largest bear all time for Barron County.

The bear weighed 557 pounds live and dressed out was 480 pounds!

The big albino fella is still out there and he’s bigger and better than ever before.

Here is the rack the “Three Lakes Albino” is sporting in 2026!

… there have been pictures of this buck going back to 2023 (that we’ve seen) and I’m sure there are photos of him floating around before that as well as he seems very mature at this point!

We have a NEW RECORD for a Polk County Non-Typical gun harvest!

Alex R. found MASSIVE success in 2025 as he was able to tag out on this gross score: 222 2/8”, net score: 217 0/8”, Wisconsin whitetail!

The Sunday of r***e opener was a special one for Alex! 🍀

Below you’ll find Wisconsin’s season dates with zone information as well! ⤵️

Zones A, B, D — where dogs ARE permitted:

Sept. 9-15:
• with the aid of bait and all other legal methods not using dogs.

Sept. 16-Oct. 6:
• with the aid of dogs
• with the aid of bait and all other legal methods.

Oct. 7-13:
• with the aid of dogs only, no other methods.

Zones C, E, F — where dogs are NOT permitted:

Sept. 9–Oct. 13:
• with the aid of bait and all other legal methods not using dogs.

Jeff Wessel, the fella highlighted in our last post, also had the pleasure of helping this young man harvest fill his turkey tag!

“I was able to bring one of my little men out hunting this spring. After multiple tries mornings and afternoons with hours of sitting in the blind — Bentley showed that patience pays off! We had a great time during each hunt and tonight was his night!”

These are some of the best memories! 👍🏻🦃
