Beau Danke, Waushara County (WI), is pictured with his first turkey harvest and his hunting crew!!

“23 pounds, 10.5 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. Hens pulled the toms away off the roost so we backed out and looped around to get ahead of em!

We set up and within about 10 minutes we had 3 toms crest the ridge strutting at 25 yards and the rest is history.

Shot with my first shotgun and the same gun I harvested my first turkey with over 20 years ago.”

“Missed a bigger bodied buck one hour before this one came through. Every buck was on hoof that morning.

A 10 pointer with an 18” inside spread and was aged at 6.5 years old.”
