The Bearcats season came to an end last night after a hard fought lose to St. Ansgar 2-0 in the District Final.

Felt like we were playing our best baseball of the season down the stretch, and as a coach that is what you want and ask your boys for.

The Bearcats ended the season with an overall record of 14-8 and a finished 3rd in the conference with a record of 9-5.

Seniors Cain Nielsen, Brody Wangsness, and Weston Miller, we hope you enjoyed being in the program for the last 4 years. We wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors and you will be missed within the program.

Parents, thank you for all the support throughout the season, and traveling all over night in and night out to cheer us on!

Enjoy the rest of your summers!

HISTORY FOR WANGSNESS 🍿

North Butler's ace Brody Wangsness recently hit 150 strikeouts this season...

The only other guys to do that in the last decade:
2019 - Jake Hilmer (North Linn) - 168
2019 - Blaine Harpenau (Remsen St. Mary's) - 163

The Bearcats are moving on!

The boys got a big 3-0 win tonight in the 2nd Round of District play over Riceville.

Brody Wangsness got the start on the mound and pitched all but 1 pitch. He struck out 16 Wildcats and gave up 3 hits on the night.

Offensively, we had some great clutch hits from Senior Weston Miller, Freshman Hayden Sage, and Freshman Jake Vorhes. Each drove in a run and provided the offensive spark on the night to get the win.

The Bearcats will take on St. Ansgar this Saturday in the District Final! Can’t wait to see you all there!
