We had a great finale this past Saturday. Results are up on horse showing.com and will be up on our website shortly. Congratulations to our Cinnamon Teal winner, Grace Saad, our Mrs. Tiggy Winkle winner, Nycon and our Leo Conroy Hunter derby winner, Esperanto ridden by owner Alice Difiglia. The awards banquet will be at branches on October 21 and forms will be on website this week.

Congratulations to the newest Cinnamon Teal qualifiers;
Ashley Degaetano, Marley Lubin, Kyra Smith and Sara Bonardi. We have also added 2 more horses/ponies for the Mrs. Tiggywinkle award: A pinch of cinnamon and Knight Rider. Our next show will be 8/27 at East Freehold show grounds and post cards will be out this week with the classes. Remember the Monmouth Finale will be 9/24, also at East Freehold.

We wish to thank all of our wonderful exhibitors for a great day last Sunday. It was a cold and windy day but the riders showed their determination not to let the weather get the better of them. We have our first Cinnamon Teal Cup Qualifiers. Congratulations to Natalie Tezsla, Alessandra Veltri, Catherine Sweetnam, Adele McKenna, Kara Saladino, Taegan Long, Alexa Larosa, Alice Clayton and Sofia Moskowitz. Great job! The Cinnamon Teal Cup final will be at our last show on Sept. 24th. Looking forward to seeing you all again 6/11, then right back on 6/11. Happy showing

Here is our 2016 time schedule. We are excited to offer a USHJA Outreach ring. Exhibitors showing in this ring will enjoy the same excellent courses, judges and staff but with no USEF/USHJA fees. We also will be including the 5 CJL shows held at East Freehold towards our year end standings. The banquet for the end of the year awards dinner will be at Branches on 10/21/16. Happy Showing!

A follow up to Creigh's posting today. It is true that the August A show is in the process of being transferred to Tucker and Michael, and we wish them best of luck with this new endeavor. The Monmouth County Horse show has been in the capable hands of George and Mike for over 30 years. Leo was involved for the majority of those years and we miss him dearly. It is time for Mike and George to relax a little, not too much, but a little and just concentrate on the 1 day C rated shows. There are so many people to thank for their blood, sweat and sponsorships to keep the A show going. I would like to thank a few, and I know I will miss a couple and for that I apologize ahead of time. Carol and Willard Thompson, Carol loved Monmouth and is greatly missed, and was a great help. The Tack Shelter, miss you Lisa, and thank you Dennis, WISS COSTANZA and Luitpold. The Conway Family, the Do Trot in Saddle shop, Back on Track, Ellen KELLY, KELLY Desaye and Sarah Baumgartner, all of our Junior Committee, Nevergreen Farm, Barbara Lang, Colts Neck Equine, Duncraven Farm for the Mimosas.
