Temperatures are rising, and the snow is melting, though slowly.

That means clay court season at Oakmont can’t be far away.

Keep in mind that renewing your membership before March 31 will save you $75. Here at our club in Allentown’s West End, we have seven clay courts, organized doubles, clinics, lessons and more ways to get involved with folks who also love tennis.

Whether you’re an individual member, family of players or young adult, now’s the time to take advantage of the club’s special discount to play the world’s healthiest sport (The Best Sports for Longevity - The New York Times) at the area’s only red clay tennis club. You also can give a membership to a loved one as a belated Valentine’s Day gift, a birthday present or for any other occasion.

We typically open the courts in early April and play until late fall. It’s a great way for meeting new friends, getting exercise and fresh air and improving your game and your health.
