Mesa 2029 Orange crushed the competition last week at the King of the Mountain tournament. They had fun, learned and played with discipline. The team is coached by Jon Borror who was an all American and played at and was the player of the year in 2006 !

Five years of great lacrosse and more importantly we were given an opportunity to bring together families from PA, DE and Mass that started that turned out team into a special lacrosse family.

Coach O’Grady outfitted us in a “unique” uniform selection that turned into a calling card to other teams as we won a number of tourneys and games against some of the better teams in the region.

Lessons were taught in practice as well as after wins and losses and this 2021 is set to go into college and achieve great things. 11 division 1 commits with more coming across all divisions.

Fred Barnett, NFL Eagle great and Myla's (UVA 2022 and Mesa ‘22 assistant coach) dad, spoke to the Mesa ‘22 girls today about competitive mindset. He also had a catch with the team!

Fred Lee Barnett (born June 17, 1966 in Gunnison, Mississippi) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. He played college football at Arkansas State University and was drafted by the Eagles in the third round of the 1990 NFL Draft.

Barnett played in eight NFL seasons from 1990 to 1997 for the Eagles and the Dolphins. He made the Pro Bowl following the 1992 season and was known for his ability to make acrobatic catches. He was the receiver on one of the Eagles' longest plays of all time, a 95-yard touchdown pass from Randall Cunningham in a 1990 game against the Buffalo Bills. Barnett was later the tight ends coach of the Memphis Maniax of the XFL. @ AL Kelly Field
