“We wanted to go for a live event feel since the project was inspired by Sabrina Carpenter’s Coachella debut. I decided to use SkyPanel X21s in place of the JDC2 lights typically used in concert events, they seemed to be the closest match. We had forty-eight X21s with both the Dome and the HyPer Optics.
The units were situated as overheads built from ModTruss with softboxes, but we scrapped that because we had so many units it didn’t really need to be softened more than that. We wrapped the front with five SkyPanel 360s. As a back edge, we used five SkyPanel 120s and two SkyPanel 360s for back 3/4 pushes.units were the only way to achieve the looks we had. They provided the color, output, shape, and the quality that’s most important to getting a job done. The built-in connectivity of these units saved us a lot of time
