NTX Tribe just finished up their 3 day USSSA Memorial Day tournament this past weekend and we are very proud of the way they battled all weekend long, playing 8 games and having a 4-4 record over the weekend!
Wanted to shout out Charlie Dopheide #14 for really stepping up this weekend and having great stats, like a .636 batting Avg, 3 Doubles, 2 Triples, 9 RBI’s. She’s the youngest on our team and is a very strong 2015!
Another big shout out to Claire, Blythe, Harper, Addy, and Viv who played really good infield defense and made plays that kept us in a lot of games!
Our outfield, Greer, Faith and Sutton really turned up a notch and kept balls in front of them as we stress to them not to let balls go to the fence. Sutton Dennis was a vacuum in the outfield catching 2 pop flys and throwing out a few girls on the bases!
Last but not least! Our Catchers! Austynn Johnson and Jayde O’Barr taking on the heat and playing hard and being vocal every time they were behind the plate!
