🥎PLAYER SPOTLIGHT🥎
We would like to congratulate our Elodie James on her acceptance into Blair Academy to continue her academic and athletic career in softball!
Elodie’s love for softball started when she was just 4 years old playing tee ball for her towns recreation team. She then became a Wolverine at just 9 years old, making this her 4th year apart of our program. Elodie joined our 10U team back in the Fall of 2022 playing for Coach Marissa. Elodie was our only pitcher and she got us through every double header, game, and tournament. Pitching all of those games at 9 is not only unheard of, but Elodie did it and has continued to do it each and every season. Elodie was like no other 10U pitcher we had seen and her hard work and determination is why.
Elodie has worked extremely hard to get to where she is today. She is constantly pitching whether it be at her lessons, in season, off season, or even in the snow in her back yard! Elodie has shown us what it means to be consistent and how consistency on and off the field pays off! She proves that getting lessons, pitching and playing on her own time, not just in practice and games, grows players into being the best they can be! 🥎🖤❤️
Elodie, your coaches at the Wolverines commend you and are so extremely proud of who you are and who you have grown up to be not just as a softball player but as a young woman. You have accomplished so many things as a Wolverine like reaching 40mph at just 10 years old, 100+ strikeouts in multiple different seasons, and pitching your team into championships more than 5 times! You are something to be proud of El!
El you are an inspiration to not just our younger girls looking up to you, but to the Wolverines program. You showcase that hard work pays off. You showcase what it means to be a Wolverine. 🖤❤️
We congratulate you again Elodie on all of our hard work to get to where you are today. We congratulate you for continuing your academic and softball career at Blair Academy. And we love having you as a Wolverine! ❤️🖤
