Creating a bicycle company has been a passion of mine since I was a 14 year old grom working in a bike shop with people 30 years later I still count as friends.

I've scratched that itch and then some.

Ignite parts have been used by cyclists all over the world to make their bikes stand out with components that flat out work. More than just copying what other brands are doing and machining s**t with zero engineering practices applied, I have worked tirelessly to design, engineer, and manufacture parts I would feel confident bolting on and riding anywhere in the world on. Many of my customers have done just that!

Thank you all for your support and business these last 5 years. Ignite was more successful than I could have ever imagined. That 14yr old kid would be proud to have thousands of cranks out in the world on every type of bike, from BMX to commuter rigs, Olympic athletes, Iditarod racers, countless junior athletes, and just the peeps chillin' at the local trailhead. It has been a dream riding with ya'll but the creative juice is flowing down a different river and I'm pumped on what the future holds.

Happy trails!

Crank installation specs and procedure:

1. Grease all splines and spindle
2. Install DS arm to spindle and hand tighten
3. Install cranks into frame with no spacers but bb outer sealing washer installed.
4. Install NDS arm with preload adjuster towards NDS arm (loosely, do not bottom it against arm)
5. Torque both arms to
6. Center cranks in frame.
7. Use spacers on DS between bb seal and direct mount face of DS crank arm inserted to gauge number of spacers to use.
8. Remove NDS arm and slide spindle and DS arm out of bb
9. Install chainring/spider and torque to spec, ensuring greased splines and face.
10. Install proper number of spacers onto DS spindle area and grease well.
11. Insert spindle with spacers and bb sealing washer into frame.
12. Insert 2 less spacers onto NDS portion of spindle than used on DS.
13. Install and NDS arm with preload adjuster loosely touching NDS arm.
14. Torque both arms to spec.
15. Back preload adjuster to bb until just snug. Rotate cranks a few turns fwd and back and tap cranks back and forth on BB with soft mallet.
16. Preload is correct when preload adjuster is backed off about 1/4 turn from point where bearings slightly drag. Less preload is better than more. (A little loose is better than too tight). Tightened preload adjuster lock bolt to torque spec.
17. Go ride your legs off.
18. Check torque on arms and bearing preload after first ride.
19. Enjoy life.
