❤️ THANK YOU, WEIST FAMILY! ❤️
For the past several years, the Weist family has poured an incredible amount of time, energy, and heart into running our Little League Snackbar – and we can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for our league and our families!
Anyone who has spent time at the fields knows the Snackbar is so much more than a place to grab a hotdog, candy, or an icy during a game. It’s part of the Little League experience. It’s where the kids run with their teammates after the games, where families catch up between innings, and where countless memories are made throughout our spring and fall seasons.
It’s also one of our leagues, most important fundraisers, helping us continue to invest back into our fields, programs, players, and the Little League experience we all love. None of that happens without people willing to step up and make it happen!
For years, the Weist’s have been those people. Through countless games, practices, weeknights, weekends, tournaments, and long days at the fields, they’ve been there – planning, shopping, stocking, organizing, cooking, cleaning, and doing all the behind-the-scenes work that most of us never see.
To the entire Weist family: THANK YOU! Thank you for the countless hours you’ve given, for taking such great care of this special part of our league, and for helping create something our kids and families look forward to every season ❤️⚾️. You’ve more than earned your retirement! ** Stop and say thank you when you see them at the fields**
⚾️ AND NOW… ITS TIME TO PASS THE TORCH!
As we head into the Fall season, we’re looking for 3–4 people/families to come together and form our next Snackbar Committee.
We’re not looking for one family to take on everything, we want to build a team that will share the responsibility, divide and conquer, and carry this Little League tradition into its next chapter. And this part is important: in order for our Snackbar to be open this coming Spring, we need our next crew to step up!
