Last minute update, Haley and Kim were going to run in this but Kim is headed out of town so I’m going to sub in for her.

Noon is the race time.

Hey racers!!

Kim, Jeremiah, Haley, and I are camping at the warrior dash venue this weekend. If you want to stage at our trailer in space #55, you won’t need a locker or bag check.. we are literally 50 yards from the course.

Park in the regular parking where they send you but at the venue come to our spot.

Race time is 11a but get here early and lmk when ur on the way.

For the race this weekend, we will be camping at Prado so a good meetup could be at our trailer and we walk over. We are camping at the race venue so we are close.

Park in general parking and I’ll post a map dot or coordinates and our campsite number.

Ok, we are almost at race day folks!!

Just a couple things.. you should have email from Spartan with directions to parking and what to bring, etc. Follow their instructions for all that.

We are camping nearby and will rally up at the registration/waiver area outside the festival area, then we'll move to the bag check area, then near the restrooms, and eventually just near the staging pen at the starting line..

Our start times are at 1145 both Saturday for the Super and Sunday for the Sprint, so working backward from there:

10:00 Registration
10:30 Bag Check
11:00 Near the Porta-Potty's (someone always has to go)
11:30 At or near the staging pen/starting line

It's an approximation right up to the staging part, we will be at or near the pen by 11:30

Keep a lookout and hunt us down. I'll be in a camp hat with my camo hydration pack and of course, Aliso CrossFit OCR shirt! Sample pic below..

Hydrate like crazy and lather on the sunscreen, the weather will be warm and sunny.

The course has been published, it's familiar in that we've run at Prado several times.. nice to see the multi-rig and hoist look to be prior to any water obstacles.

Stand by for information regarding placing your shirt order in time for the race this weekend. A couple details I have first...

ACF Members, as a "thank you" for being a part of our community at ACF and for participating in these races.. ACF will be covering the cost of your inaugural race shirt, details to follow. You will get a promo code sent to your email that will charge the cost to me.

All others, although you are covering the cost of yours.. when you check out, you will need to select WILL CALL and I will pick up your ordered shirt from Todd and deliver it to the race or to Aliso CrossFit and you can pick it up from us. There will be no additional charge for shipping.

I anticipate the shirts will be up on the website anytime and all orders will need to be put in tomorrow for this first run. More details on this part shortly.

Last but not least, a special shout out to Todd and RugbyFit USA for making this happen.

If you've ever wanted to try an OCR, I'd encourage it 100%.. nothing short of a blast to accomplish these with friends and family. Start with the Spartan Sprint or Warrior Dash, just to get your feet wet.

If you're a little off kilter and feel like stepping it up a bit, do the Spartan Super..

If you're completely sold out on going for broke, Spartan Sprint/Super in one weekend and the Spartan Beast in May and earn your Trifecta before June in 2018!
